Description: The purpose of this collection is to honour the European(Republic Flag Colours in sky) and Mi'kmaq Heritage in Newfoundland. I spent every summer visiting my grandmother Alice Maude Gosse(nee Benoit) in St. David's, NL, and visiting relatives on Cape St. George.  I have always loved the geography of the area, and felt I needed to display the large hills and culture in some vibrant way.  This collection shows my pride to be a member of the newly formed Qalipu Mi'kmaq First Nation Band in Newfoundland.
